Beaumont Hospital PDF

Project value: €13 million

KCC Architectural was awarded the contract to supply, fabricate and install a vast range of products to the Acute Psychiatry Unit of Beaumont Hospital; the facilities consist of 44 beds, 38 for general acute psychiatry and 6 for geriatric psychiatry.

KCC supplied and installed 318 Doorsets which consisted of: Steel wrap around frames, oak doors, anti-ligature ironmongery and access control systems. Our steel frames are extremely durable and more importantly they are very hygienic, a must in a hospital environment. In a psychiatric setting anti ligature hardware is the most appropriate hardware in order to prevent self- harm and preserve the safety of patients.

In addition to the door-sets, KCC also supplied Access Control Locks, Magnetic Door Hold Open and Vistamatic secure glazed vision panels.

KCC has a long history on supplying and installing products to the healthcare sector. Projects we have being involved in includes: Santry Sports Clinic, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Blackrock Clinic, Aspetar Hospital (Doha, Qatar), Galway University Hospital and many more…
